This is an exciting time to be joining this organisation. They have had exceptional year on year growth and are looking to invest in a new ERP system. We are looking for a Financial Accountant with experience of of Group reporting.
Growing Peterborough based organisation who increased revenues by over 30% last year. They have a strong client base and market leading products.
As the Financial Accountant you will ensure the Financial Accounts and the transactions underlying them are reported correctly and the completion of the UK stat accounts for the Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly and quarterly financial statements for Group
- Provide support to FM for production of group schedules
- Preparation of 13 week cash flow forecast
- Help with implementation of new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) (SAP 4 Hana)
- Development and implementation of accounting policies, robust systems, processes, and internal controls
- Internal audit for Fixed assets Capex control/authorisation
- Preparation and review of relevant balance sheets including intercompany
- Main contact for HRMC (VAT, duty R&D and Corp tax)
- Complete a full reconciliation at month end of all sales invoices/credit notes
- Produce a weekly sales invoice reporting and chase Un invoiced
- Provide daily updates to the Credit Controller and Sales Team of the cash received
- Ad-hoc financial analysis/reconciliation work as requested
This role is ideal for someone with a Financial Reporting background who is looking for an interesting challenge within an organisation with big plans.
