We're currently working with an evolving technology start up based in Cambridge with a reach in the USA to find a commercially minded Financial Controller on a part time basis (3 days) with flexibility to work from home.
The role will predominantly focus on the commercial aspects of the business from cashflow management and forecasting, financial planning while analysing budgets with associated commentary. There is with any new venture especially in the finance function an element of transactional work and preparation of management accounts however the VAT, tax, payroll and full management accounts are outsourced for the foreseeable future.
The company envisage further invest over the coming years to help drive their impressive client base so ad-hoc reporting for particular investors will be required at short notice.
The successful applicant will hold an accounting qualification or be qualified by experience. You'll be comfortable in compiling and presenting financials to senior stakeholders ensuring they have full disclosure on financial performance including revenue to date and pipeline agreements.
