Head of Applications for a Software company in london
The Applications team looks after the 1st, 2nd & 3rd line technical support for a range of applications for the end client. The support team is responsible for monitoring the operation of the system, providing support to the customers, performing configuration changes, and working with other teams within the organisation to support the business critical applications.

- Designing, implementing and resource management
- Looking after incident, problem, change and service level management teams
- Dealing with 3rd party suppliers
- Contract negotiations and responsible for vendor relationships
- Overseeing the tooling, offshore management, training and recruitment
- Spearheading the application deployment /upgrades
- 10 years+ experience within Application support
- Managed teams
- Experience with new technologies and/or a software background
- Great communicator, being the link between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Windows or Linux
- Powershell
- Python, Java, Apache
- SQL
- Cloud experience e.g. AWS and Azure
Salary - £100,000 to £110,000
