We're working with an organisation based on the outskirts of Cambridge as they look for a Head of Financial Accounts to join the established team.
Reporting to and working closely with the Group Finance Director you'll take responsibility of providing accurate finances to the wider group from a reporting and compliance perspective.
The role will cover a range of tasks with the emphasis on reviewing systems, processes and controls ensuring timely financial reporting and statutory accounts are produced. You'll act as a support to operational heads and managers of business units allowing them to make informed decisions.
Due to the nature of the business there are some nuances in finance from leading on Stamp duty land tax and regulatory reporting to governing bodies.
The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant who comes from a public sector/ housing environment. You'll have the technical skillset to not only do the 'day to day' financials but mentor and manage a small team ensuring their professional development is met.
This offers remote working until the end of '21 with a hybrid working model come 2022.
