Main Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the people services team to optimum performance levels, to achieve agreed targets
- Assisting the Head of HR to continuously develop the people services offering
- Challenge processes and procedures, identify and implement improvements to enhance the customer experience or improve operational efficiency within the department and business unit
- Providing training to the team on systems, policies and procedures where necessary
- Collate & provide information on key performance indicators for reporting
- To provide reports on team and department progress and other requirements
- Lead and drive team performance and delivery, effectively delegating and organising workload appropriately and managing improvements where necessary
- Recruit, train, monitor and develop team members, outlining the areas of accountability, providing coaching on areas of development and empowering ownership of problems through to resolution
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Proven experience within managing a customer service team, preferably in HR
- Experience as a senior customer service individual or in HR Administration
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment, ideally working to SLA's
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- An excellent communicator with the ability to motivate and engage your team
- Ability to identify areas of training for individuals
- Approachable and creative mindset
