We have a Cambridge based global brand looking to hire an Oracle EBS Consultant, with a strong understanding of finance & accounting.
This is a 6 month assignment to begin with but could extend.
The organisation are currently in the midst of a large Oracle EBS on premise implementation.
My client, the Head of Finance is looking for a Consultant to come and act as an advisor to her whilst working with the third party who are leading the implementation.
This is an advisory/consultative role to help the Head of Finance understand technical elements of the implementation.
It is also to help foresee potential pitfalls for the organisation by learning and understanding how their business works.
You will have strong experience of Oracle EBS and importantly understand how finance links in with this.
The preference is to have somebody who was either an accountant who now specialises in Oracle or maybe somebody who is still an accountant who was the lead secondee from finance for the this sort of implementation.
Importantly this isn't just a technical role of know how of Oracle EBS, it is also technical know how of how you produce a set of accounts in it and the considerations that need to be noted for finance.
The first 2-3 months will be working from home. Hopefully, assuming government guidelines, this person will then need to be Cambridge based for a handful of days in months 3-6 to help with training on site.
