Our Hi -Tech client has achieved significant revenue growth over the last 12 months and a slew of new customers recently acquired will ensure this growth continues. This is an opportunity to use your finance expertise with the dynamic part of the business working with commercial teams and project managers.
Using ground breaking AI technology our client is producing dramatic results that are supporting the clinical trials of its growing customer base. Located in the centre of Cambridge they offer a hybrid working and the opportunity to join a rapidly expanding operation.
Key Responsibilities: - Revenue reporting to senior management - Provide clear reporting on actual vs budget and the latest full year forecast to project delivery teams, senior management and contribute to board reports. You will own the full-year revenue forecast.
- Commercial and operational focus - Run twice-monthly programme meetings and hold the clinical operations Project Managers accountable for delivery against individual customer project deliverable, updating forecasts and raising insights to management and project managers alike to improve efficiency and delivery.
- Billing and cash recovery - Prepare and transmit customer invoices and will lead cash recovery from debtors, contributing to managing the company's working capital by taking responsibility for performance against our Accounts Receivable Days metric.
- Continuous improvement - Work closely with the IT technical team and external vendors to lead systems development to design and implement processes for revenue recording, recognition, and billing; connecting our service delivery platform, customer relationship management tools, and accounting software to eliminate manual processes and implement scalable, auditable processes.
- Cost of sales - Design and implement processes to identify and self-bill direct costs of sales (Central Reads) where radiologists perform work at a piece rate which is then recharged to clients.
- Commission plan management - Calculate net revenue and ensure that our commercial team's commission plan is accurately maintained.
- Commercial impact - Work with the commercial team to maintain and review rate cards, helping manage pricing and maximise value from our services.

This is a role for a qualified finance professional with a background in audit, possibly a first time mover. Ideally you will have had exposure to Hi Tech / Bio tech organisations. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to operate with credibility with non finance professionals.
£60,000 to £70,000 depending on experience plus benefits
