EA First are working exclusively with an exciting, up and coming, and extremely progressive Biotech organisation based in the heart of Cambridge. This is a rare opportunity to join a highly sought after organisation, who have recently received a large amount of funding, and as a result are looking grow their internal finance team. The Ledger Accountant will work closely with the Financial Accountant and the Head of Finance. They are looking to appoint an ambitious candidate who wants to develop their skills and career.
The duties for the Ledger Accountant role will include:
- Processing invoices
- Taking responsibility for staff expenses
- Preparing month end such as accounting journal
- Supporting the financial accountant with year-end preparation
- Ownership of the fixed asset
- Prepare and posting of monthly Accruals and prepayment schedules.
This business is looking for an individual who is studying, or looking to start studying, towards an accountancy relevant qualifications. You will have a strong attention to detail and a desire to take on additional responsibility beyond the job description.
