A prestigious independent school in Cambridge is seeking a Part-Time Admissions Officer to join their close-knit team.
In this pivotal role, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective pupils and their families, delivering a warm, professional and informative admissions experience from enquiry through to enrolment. You'll provide efficient administrative support throughout the admissions process, and play a key role in welcoming new families into the school community.
- Managing and responding to admissions enquiries
- Guiding families through each step of the admissions process
- Coordinating visits, interviews, and open events (including occasional Saturdays and evenings)
- Maintaining accurate records on the school's CRM/database
- Supporting wider school events and working collaboratively with other depart
- A confident and clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
- Experience in a similar admissions or customer service role, ideally within education
- Strong administrative and IT skills; experience with a CRM/database is advantageous
- Warm, friendly and professional approach when dealing with families and colleagues
Location: Cambridge
Hours: 30 hours per week, across 5 days
Salary: £24,000 (Pro Rata, FTE £30,000)
