We are currently looking for an Application Manager with experience of working with Enterprise ITSM and operational support tools who has experience of managing a team.

You will need to be able to evolve and customise the environment to best serve business requirements.

As the Application Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Owning and Maintaining the Operational Services ITSM and Knowledge Management environment
  • Manage, recommend and deploy appropriate ITSM solutions using relevant products to meet stakeholder requirements
  • Responsible for all of the tooling suites including, but not limited to Jira Service Management, Jira Software, Service Now, Zendesk, Confluence, BT NGCC Softphone system, Slack
  • Provide ongoing support for all ITSM, knowledgebase, tooling and integration solutions for the team
  • Managing the team's portfolio, allocating and managing all workloads within the agreed timescales
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to influence, shape and implement strategic direction for the Operational tooling in use
  • Understanding Vendor roadmaps to enhance and improve the existing applications and processes already in place

The ideal Applicatins Support Manager will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Can display expertise in analysing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems and the associated support tooling and dashboarding within the business
  • Extensive experience of application support at an Enterprise level is essential
  • Demonstrates strong people management and leadership skills
  • Great communicator, with strong verbal and writing skills
