We're working with an owner managed business based in North London as they look to recruit an Assistant Financial Controller to support the continued growth of an established company.
Working closely with the Financial Controller and supported by junior members of finance, you'll be tasked with supporting the controls and processes of the business while taking ownership of the analytical reports.
The role will take a hands-on approach to finance from producing management, running the finance cycle while developing new reporting information for the owners. You'll have the scope to add value, analysing/ interrogating current financials while providing insight to the management team; this is a great opportunity to bring something new to the team and company which has been lacking in recent years.
You'll utilise the Financial Controllers extensive knowledge of the business while looking at ways to improve systems/ processes.
The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with prior experience in an SME / owner managed environment. You'll be comfortable developing new reports/ analysis packs for the owners and getting stuck in to the day to day operations within finance. This role has scope to implement new reporting packs/ analysis and commercial insight which the owners haven't received on a regular basis; perhaps you're a competent Finance Manager or Analyst who loves to support owners with their business strategy or you are looking for that next career move offering autonomy and a chance to make an impression in a business.
Salary £50,000- £65,000 and hybrid working available.
