About the Role:

As an Audit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and strategising the Audit Department. With the support of the firm-wide Leadership Forum, you'll oversee a portfolio of key clients, ensuring the delivery of top-notch audit services. Your responsibilities will include conducting audits, providing strategic insights, and nurturing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a client portfolio, conducting audits and providing strategic insights.
  • Foster strong client relationships and ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Manage multiple assignments efficiently, handling financial aspects effectively.
  • Coach and develop team members to maximise their potential.
  • Engage in external networking events to support departmental objectives.
  • Cultivate internal and external networks to drive personal and professional growth.

The successful candidate:

  • Proven experience in managing external audits.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS102, and ISAs.
  • ACA or ACCA qualification.
  • Strong time management skills and a knack for meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Understanding of commercial businesses and key success factors.
