We're working with a fast growing business exploring new technologies and products based near St Ives (Cambridgeshire), They are looking for a Business Development Executive to support a particular product line.
Reporting to the Sales Director you'll be in a newly created role; being the link between internal technology teams and potential partners to promote the product accordingly ensuring all IP rights are protected throughout communication.
This is a chance to join a business that have moved from a start-up (pre revenue) stage to commercialising their first product with the need for a BD Executive to drive the product to suitable partners.
The role will see you work closely with the product manager in initiating and managing external partnerships, providing a clear pathway to opportunities either resulting in direct or indirect sales while supporting the marketing and commercial team around global exhibitions and campaigns leveraging intel to develop pipeline further.
As the role develops you'll have the opportunity to deliver technical and scientific seminars on your specific product line, company mission and strategies to promote the product line further.
You'll have exposure to the sales director and be expected to update on business development activities on a monthly basis for board meetings and utilising the CRM system.
The successful applicant will preferably hold a degree in Science/Engineering or Maths with an appreciation for technology. You'll be passionate about early stage technology able to communicate technical information in a cohesive manner to all parties while representing the business in a credible manner.

Salary £30,000- £40,000 (DoE)
