We are recruiting for a Business Manager who is willing to challenge the status quo to exceed expectations!
As the Business Manager, the main purpose of your job will be:
- Responsibility for the day to day operations whilst developing strategic plans for optimised productivity
- Seeking out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships
- To lead and support a team of engineers and administration staff
Responsibilities will also include:
- Setting weekly performance goals
- Management and motivation of teams
- Recruit, onboard and train
- Maintain project timelines to ensure deadlines are met
- Managing customer enquiries, quotations and work schedules
- Provide site surveys
- Ensuring compliance to EH&S procedures including producing job specific risk assessments
- Managing maintenance of equipment and vehicles
- Checking and authorising working hours
You will be working to clearly defined objectives which include the above points as well as delivering against financial forecasts, reviewing and improving of organisational effectiveness and the establishing of a highly motivated work environment.
You will have a strong working knowledge of operational procedures, a proven track record in the ability to develop and maintain financial plans and demonstrate the ability to motivate others at all levels.
Strong leadership skills along with B2B/B2C customer relationship management and ideally experience in a manufacturing or construction setting is preferred.
Location:
Brandon, Suffolk - the role does include regular travel across the UK which will involve occasional overnight stays.
Hours:
Monday-Friday 7:45am-4:30pm (40 hours per week)
Salary:
£40-45k basic + bonus + company car, phone and laptop
