Climate and Nature Risk Analyst

Based in the Cambridge office, these roles offer an exciting opportunity to be part of the environmental analytics team. As a Climate and Nature Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing the suite of environmental and risk models. Responsibilities include wrangling complex datasets, conducting analytics, and building rigorous models to quantify the probability, consequences, and financial impacts of nature and climate risk scenarios.

Essential Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in geography, natural sciences, economics, mathematics, physics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience with a programming language, preferably Python.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
  • Ability to source, organise, and interpret datasets effectively.
  • An interest in climate change and/or nature risks and their business implications.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of topics related to climate change and nature risk, such as physical risk science, economics, and finance.
  • Experience with graphical information systems (GIS).
  • Relevant experience in predictive model development.
