This exciting Cambridge headquartered start up is looking to come out of the lockdown with an aggressive programme of aquisitions. Whilst the deal sizes will be modest, they will continue to grow as this business looks to hit its 5 year strategy.

This is an exciting and newly created role that will require somebody with passion and energy to ensure success is achieved.

Working closely with the Owner & Chairman, your responsibilities role will include:

- Weekly assessment of the direct platforms listing competitor businesses for sale
- Building a network of relevant NED's within the client industry who could aid in initial discussions for a purchase
- Creating and leading a project within LinkedIn Recruiter which will prove to be both expansive and detailed
- Via a LinkedIn recruiter license you will follow the parameters set by the owner & Chairman to find firms which could prove to be that potential gem not yet publicly for sale
- Through each new list created weekly you will then drill down into the set-up of that business to garner the potential quality of that team less the owner
- From a list which over the course of the year will run into hundreds, you will whittle this down to manageable numbers which you will then make an initial approach on our behalf
- As and when discussions begin you will in turn help with due diligence through additional released records
- Assisting with all matters through the deal process
- We have access to initial funds to start the first purchase but will need somebody to research & support our avenues to future funds

Who will you be:

- Somebody ambitious looking to forge a career within a new start up organisation
- Somebody prepared to roll their sleeves up and graft at any level to help make this role a success
- Somebody excited about being part of a path to help EA First realise our dreams through the channel of successful acquisitions
- Somebody with the flair and creativity to own this role and then take it in whatever direction it needs to make it as successful as possible
- Somebody who can demonstrate passion and strong people skills
- Somebody who can demonstrate patience and the ability to spend huge swathes of time with the research part of this role
- Somebody resilient who can take the inevitable knock backs that come when you speculatively try to engineer an acquisition
- Somebody prepared to come do a role that has not existed in any agency of a comparable size, and importantly, somebody excited who will throw all their energy into helping this be a success
