A fantastic Deputy Finance Manager opportunity has arisen, within a high growth Cambridge business

Due to growth this vibrant business based just outside Cambridge city centre is looking to enhance their finance team with a newly created Deputy Finance Manager.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the duties for the Deputy Finance Manager will include:

  • Playing a key role to support the day to day running of the AR, AP and banking teams for the group
  • Identifying process improvements and implementing across the team
  • Working closely with the wider finance team an any queries relating to the operational finance function
  • Ensuring the team complete the weekly, monthly and quarterly controls and verified
  • Supporting the finance manager with adhoc projects

The Deputy Finance Manager is part of the operational finance team and is part of a wider finance team within the group. This is an amazing opportunity for an ambitious and driven individual, to be part of a fast pace and high growth business in Cambridge.

The successful candidates for the deputy finance manager role will:

  • Working towards the relevant accountancy qualification such as AAT / CIMA/ ACCA
  • Experience in a similar role covering transactional financial
  • You will have ideally managed a team/ reports in previous roles
  • Strong attention to detail ability to make logical decisions and a hands on approach.
  • A self-starter with ability to operating in a dynamic past pace environment,
  • A Team Player who is confident communicating across all business levels
  • Proven ability to motivate a team

Job offer:

In return for the deputy finance manager role will be offered a salary up to £35,000 plus an excellent working environment including hybrid working and other good benefits including pension.
