In this varied, dual role combining sales order processing and packing of items, you will be working collaboratively to ensure customer's orders are completed accurately.
Based in Cambridge, this position is working for a dynamic and growing business who are an award-winning, global leader in their field.
As the Distribution & Sales Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for the daily distribution of product orders to customers, whilst also learning how to process and acknowledge customer orders as they are received. In addition, you'll support on a wide range of activities throughout the business from organising lunches, travel, and accommodation, to helping with conference materials.
The job role includes:
- Safely picking items ensuring correct serial numbers are selected
- Packaging completed orders
- Completing necessary invoicing or paperwork to allow efficient tracking of orders
- Restocking shelves with the boxes needed for shipment
- Answering telephone calls
- Maintaining office and kitchen supplies
- Input customer Purchase Orders onto SAGE
- Produce accurate order acknowledgments for customers
Experience of SAGE 200 or Salesforce would be beneficial, however training can be provided.
Experience or knowledge of customs requirements and processes would be useful.
Previous experience in a similar position is required along with good Microsoft Office skills.
