We are delighted to partnering exclusively with a Service in Birmingham who provide support to the Mental Health Sector to recruit a Finance Administrator. For an ambitious and proactive candidate this role is offering £28,000 - £32,000 + hybrid working.
This service in Birmingham supports NHS Trusts, CCGs and private hospitals, they have established strong client relationships and a good pipeline of business, which will see continued growth and push for market leader status within this industry.
Finance Administrator:
The successful candidate will support the Finance Director with the smooth and effective running of the Finance Team, which deals with the administration of the company finances including customer invoicing, debt collection and other ad hoc finance tasks.
This role would suit a candidate who is capable of acting on their own initiative as well as working as part of a team. The successful candidate will be highly numerate, extremely organised and have excellent attention to detail.
Role Accountabilities:
- Inputting job sheet information into finance system to enable invoices to be produced.
- Downloading and sending invoices with supporting documentation to clients.
- Dealing with customer invoice queries.
- Producing customer statements and chasing aged debt.
- Ensure all systems and procedures are up to date and efficient.
- Help manage the bank account and company Credit Cards, including making bank payments and account reconciliation.

Finance Administrator:
- Ideally you will be studying AAT or educated to a degree level (or equivalent).
- Experience supporting in a similar role is essential.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, to enable professional interaction with a wide range of contacts, both internal and external to the Company.
- Ability to organise and plan own work.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
- A flexible, pro-active approach to work including the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise.
- Work on own initiative.
- Ability to deal with sensitive information with discretion and to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong IT skills, including a working knowledge of presentation software packages, preferably, Excel.
£28,000 - £32,000.
25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.
Hybrid working (3 days in office, ideally Mon-Wed / 2 days home).
Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm (Flexibility to meet business needs).
40 hours, permanent.
