We're working closely with a business based in Ely as they look for a Finance Business Partner to support the business unit looking after the eastern region.
You'll support the managing director and work in conjunction with the Finance Manager who has stepped up from this business partner position- showing there are avenues to progress from this role, whether in this entity or others within the group.
This role will see you take full ownership of the numbers from producing the management accounts including P&L reporting and KPI's while delving into the finer details around performance. You'll use historic models and numbers to analyse trends, margins and competitor comparisons. This role offers autonomy and the occasional travel to speak with other site stakeholders, predominantly in the east and around the south coast.
To be successful you'll be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) coming from a commercial role; whether you're a ready-made business partner who is looking for a fresh challenge offering the chance to impact at local level or perhaps you're looking for the next step from a management accountant role but require some additional support from someone who has held the position before.
The role offers hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
Salary £50,000-£60,000
