We're working with a business based in Ely as they look to strengthen the commercial offering to the wider organisation with the appointment of a Finance Business Partner.
You'll play an integral role in supporting the decision making process for stakeholders as you give financial insight from a growth and profitability perspective. Reporting to the Site Finance Director you'll be analysing trends, preparing and supporting budget building for both short and long term planning. This is a collaborative role that has a wider reach across the business as you work closely with peers, suggesting areas of improvement and best practice to make a more aligned approach.
Due to the nature of the business and several units there is scope to have exposure to senior stakeholders such as the unit MD's- in particular this role would have regular correspondence with the unit MD providing insight to allow decisions to be made in a timely manner.
To be successful in the role you'll a qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with prior experience of being in a business facing role, preferably from a fast paced environment. This is an autonomous role therefore a 'self starter' is needed with the commercial mindset of getting out into the business to get a clearer understanding of how it operates.
