We are working with a Not-for-Profit in Wiltshire to recruit a Finance Director. This role is paying £55,000 - £60,000 per annum offering hybrid working.
Our client is a £5m turnover Not-for-Profit based in the heart of Wiltshire, close to local transport links. They are an innovative charity looking to continue to grow their ambitious team.
Finance Director:
- Leadership of the Financial Management across the organisation, inclusive of line managing a small team.
- Attend Board, sub-committee and SMT meetings, reporting and advising on financial matters.
- Oversee the annual external audit process.
- Prepare statutory accounts in line with charity regulations (Charity SORP).
- Implement and improve financial policies and procedures
- Oversee in-house payroll, managing a payroll officer
- Review monthly management accounts.
- Responsible for the cash management of the organisation.
- Ability to oversee both charity accounts and trading subsidiary accounts.
Finance Director:
- Ideally you will be ACA, ACCA, CIMA/CGMA, CIPFA or equivalent qualified.
- It is critical you can evidence attending regular board meetings, presenting where required.
- You will be a proven leader with a background of managing a team.
- It is important you are happy to support at all levels of finance during absences within the team.
- You must be able to evidence leading an external financial audit.
- Proven Not-for-Sector financial experience is desirable.
- Use of Xero Accounting software is advantageous.
£55,000 - £60,000 per annum.
