- Being a key member of the board, driving analysis and modelling, giving advice and direction to drive strategic planning and thinking, whilst ensuring good summary information is provided.
- Leading and coaching the finance function, ensuring high levels of accuracy and insight in work produced.
- Delivering the yearly business plan, including the monthly and quarterly forecasts of the P&L and Balance Sheet and Cash Flow forecasting.
- Overseeing the monthly management pack and ensuring it is delivered on time with well presented variance analysis particularly on margin, channel, carriage and cashflow.
- Proactively driving business performance, ensuring trends and risks are identified and presented at the earliest opportunity.
You will be a qualified accountant with at least one previous role where you have managed a high-performing finance function. You will likely also come from a manufacturing background, or similar, and have experience of managing supply chain finance. Each day, you operate with a mindset of continuous improvement and will have solid examples to show where you have implemented positive change in your previous roles.
