We are delighted to be partnering with a Not-for-Profit organisation to recruit a Finance Manager position in the Northwest. This role is paying £38,000-£42,000 per annum.
This Not-for-Profit organisation are a c£1.5m t/o organisation with 45 employees. Their purpose is to improve and support the well-being of others. They operate within their local area across the North West England.
Finance Manager:
- Prepare all the monthly management accounts
- Lead on the production of statutory accounts in line with the appropriate charity regulations (SORP)
- Create all reporting in line with external auditors
- Implement improvement and procedures to accountancy processes
- Manage a team of 2
- Prepare reporting packs for board meetings
- Attend the board meeting (6-8 times a year)
- Lead on accountancy projects in the line with the business strategy
- Adopt business partnering with key internal and external stakeholders
- Support with the implementation of a new finance system
- Build a productive and positive relationship with the CEO and Trustees
Finance Manager:
- CCAB or CGMA qualified (Qualified by Experience will be considered)
- Proven ability producing management and statutory accounts
- Ideally you will have people managed
- A background working within a Finance function within the Not for Profit sector would be ideal but not essential
- An interest leading on projects is essentials
- Grant bids, income and funding knowledge is desirable
- Best practice in accountancy is critical
- Sage 50 and/or Xero accounting software knowledge is desirable
£38,000 - £42,000 per annum
25 days annual leave + bank holidays (rising to 32 days)
