Reporting directly into a part-time Portfolio CFO and the owners, this Finance Manager opportunity represents an open palette for the right candidate.
As this organisation looks to gear itself up for its next stage of growth, you will be integral to ensuring the internal finance function is ready for that growth.
You will also bring all accounting functions in house, and increase the quality and detail of the management reporting.
As an owner managed business, who cherish what they have built, this is an exciting first step in passing over the finances of their business to their first internal hire.
This Finance Manager role for our Retail client will suit somebody who:
- wants a hybrid role
- enjoys working independently
- is happy to do the full spectrum of a finance function, from basic reconciliations, to year end audit, and management accounting
- enjoys the concept of creating a finance function, and in turn, has a get go mentality to out problems, when the portfolio CFO is not present
- is qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
