We're partnering with a forward thinking VC backed business in Cambridge as they look to recruit a Financial Accountant.
Working closely with the financial controller you'll be joining a business that is accelerating their offering across the UK and US that has a positive impact on the individuals it supports.
The role will primarily focus on revenue, calculating monthly revenue figures and provide insight/ improvements into current controls and processes.
There is however some commercial aspects as you act as a business partner to customer account managers to help their understanding of finance and the 'bigger' picture while liaising with customers directly on contracted revenue and utilization of their contracts with the ability to present finances to all parties.
Due to the growth of the company and a small finance team there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and projects as they occur. You'll need a can-do attitude to be part of this close knit team, the finance team have a reputation within the business for being able to nurture and support colleagues development not only in finance but across the business.
The successful applicant will be ACA/ACCA/ CIMA qualified who has experience within industry; perhaps you're currently in a technical role but looking to broaden your skillset in a growing business that can offer the development to other areas of finance. You'll be a team player, have the ability to mange several tasks at any given point and accomplished at using Excel (VLOOKUP's, Pivot tables).
Hybrid working is available with 2 days in the office and the remainder from home.
Salary £45,000-£55,000
