I am pleased to be partnering exclusively with a long-standing client who is seeking a proactive Financial Accounts Assistant to join their Finance team based in Swords, Dublin for a initial period of 6 months.
This is a key position within a fast-paced and internationally focused organisation, supporting month-end close, audits, and core financial operations across multiple Irish entities.
This is an urgent requirement, with on-site working expected initially.
We are supporting a leading global organisation's based in Dublin, recruiting a Financial Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and managing the weekly cash forecast
- Supporting the month-end close process, including variance analysis and commentary against budget/forecast
- Conducting financial analyses both independently and for senior management
- Liaising with Operations and Finance teams to ensure timely sharing of information
- Preparing gross margin analysis reports for two sites
- Preparing monthly revenue analysis reports for four sites
- Managing daily Treasury postings and ensuring accurate reconciliation
- Managing the Treasury Loans report for Europe
- Ensuring all intercompany balances reconcile for month-end
- Overseeing weekly billing uploads to SAP from CIS and Stratum
- Producing monthly reconciliations for the main trading entity and Treasury, plus quarterly reconciliations for non-trading entities
- Supporting the annual Group and Statutory Audit
- Preparing and posting journal entries
- Handling ad hoc finance duties as required
About You
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a finance or operationally focused credit control role
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
Desirable:
- Experience using SAP or Oracle
- Strong Excel proficiency
Skills:
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise effectively
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with colleagues across different regions
- Flexible, adaptable, and keen to learn
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
