My client a leader in global logistics is seeking to appoint a Financial Accounts Assistant (6 Month Fixed Term Contract) to support a team of three based in Dublin.
With global reach my client provides smart supply chain solutions, operating ports and terminals They support clients operating in a variety of sectors.
As Financial Accounts Assistant (6 Month Fixed Term Contract) reporting to the Finance Manager you will play a key role in supporting month-end close processes and audits for the Irish entities. Duties will include:
- Prepare and manage weekly cash forecasts
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end close, including variance analysis and commentary
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to senior management
- Liaise with operations and finance teams to ensure timely information flow
- Prepare gross margin and revenue analysis reports across multiple sites
- Manage Treasury postings and reconciliations
- Maintain intercompany balance reconciliations
- Support group and statutory audits
- Prepare and post journal entries
Based in Dublin this role also supports the audit procedure which will commence in early 2026, as well as the budgeted fixed charge outs.
The most desirable Financial Accounts Assistant (6 Month Fixed Term Contract) applicant will have:
- Clear communication skills and ability to build relationships across all levels
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with SAP or Oracle is advantageous
£45,000 - £50,000 per annum plus benefits.
Full time on site in Dublin although flexibility to have a day working from home after initial on-boarding (1/2 Period Ends)
