Job Description

You will play a key role in a specialist financial reporting team, supporting clients with complex projects and high-impact advisory work. Expect variety, challenge, and the ability to shape both the role and your own career trajectory.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Leading complex reporting assignments including IFRS transitions, acquisition accounting, group consolidations and reorganisations

  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements under FRS 102, FRS 101 and IFRS

  • Acting as a trusted technical advisor - building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to add value

  • Coaching, developing and supervising junior members of the team

  • Producing technical papers and delivering updates on latest standards

  • Playing a visible role in shaping internal technical knowledge and best practice

We are looking for someone with:

  • ACA (or equivalent) qualification + 1-2 years PQE

  • Top 20 practice training background

  • Strong technical grasp of IFRS and UK GAAP

  • Experience supporting a client portfolio and mentoring colleagues

  • Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness
