We are currently supporting a Birmingham based Not-for-Profit to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager. This role is offering a salary of £65,000 - £70,000 over a 35 hour working week.

The Financial Reporting Manager will lead on financial accounting, statutory reporting and budgeting & forecasting, working with teams to deliver efficient services to meet business and regulatory requirements.

You will have overall responsibility for the service, providing the business assurance and accurate performance data to enable informed business decisions.

You will lead on all preparation and submission of reports ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements.

This is a busy, fast paced role working for a growing, ambitious organisation. You'll need to be able to react to change, build strong stakeholder relationships, coach and develop the team and ensure a great, efficient service is delivered.

This is a home based role, with occasional travel required to their Head Office in Birmingham.

Financial Reporting Manager:

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIPFA/CA finance professional, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Ability to evidence previous experience leading on year-end processes.
  • Proven track record leading with the production of statutory accounts.
  • Ability to lead on reporting to the committees such as the Board, Audit & Risk Management committee and other key stakeholders.
  • People management experience of a qualified team is desirable.
  • Strong reporting writing skills.
  • Previous oversight of all tax activities within the organisation ensuring returns are accurate is desirable.
  • Financial controls and improvement of processes experience is critical.
  • Accounting framework knowledge of SORP / FRS102 is desirable.
  • Proven experience working on complex budgeting and forecasting software.
  • Proven and extensive track record of working with and influencing Senior Managers and Directors.

£65,000 - £70,000 per annum.

35 hours a week.
