EA- first are proud to representing a UK market leading organisation, they are looking to recruit a JavaScript & React Developer to join the small development team just outside of Cambridge.
The company are looking for a Front-end JavaScript & React developer, working on greenfield project within the business sector. The successful individual will answer to the Development Manager and work alongside the existing development team and in conjunction with wider IT operations. There will also be occasional limited involvement with legacy systems.
General Duties/Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for developing, testing, improving, and maintaining our in-house application suite
- Communicating with analyst to deliver key software features
- Refactor code and remove bugs
- Creating new and efficient UX solutions
It will be essential to have the following skills:
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Be able to develop using JavaScript and React/ Redux
- The us of RESTful webservices
- Have experience in Unit Testing using React components Jest,Mocha etc
- Has experience working in a collaborative environment
- The use of workload tools such at Azure DevOps, Trello etc
It would be desirable to have the following skills
- .NET Core
- Docker, containers, Swarm, Kubernetes
- T-SQL/Entity Framework/core
- Azure AD App Integration
- Azure & DevOps experience - beneficial
- Google Material UI Framework
- Experience building scalable distributed solutions - beneficial
- Experience working on large transactional systems - beneficial
