EA First have recently been engaged to assist in recruiting a Full stack Java Developer for a forward thinking, growing Fintech organisation. you will Join a successful team in the heart on London working on an award-winning platform. This company has an even split between finance and technology and has seen huge growth over the past 5 years of over 150 employees.
At least 3 years of experience as Software Developer, working mainly in Java technologies with knowledge of relational database concept and SQL beyond simple queries. Working on a full software development life cycle environment under Agile methodologies, capable to take lead on software design and implementation best practices (Unit Testing, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Source Control policies, among others), be open to do full stack development (database development, Java development, front end (web).
Main responsibilities will include:
- Translate User Stories into working software
- Collaborate with Business Analyst, Product Owner, Team Lead to deliver solutions that solve our clients' needs
- Help in the architecture design of new products
- Conduct code reviews
- Help with removing bugs and defects
Tech Stack being used currently:
- Java, Hibernate and Spring boot- Other ORM frameworks can be used.
- SQL, REAT API, camel
- Junit, Mockito other testing frameworks can be used.
- Test driven development using GIT, Tomcat, Kubernetes
A Degree within Computer Science / Software engineering or equivalent discipline is desirable.
