As a Geospatial Analyst, you'll be a crucial member of the environmental analytics team, headquartered in Cambridge. While we support flexible work arrangements, your primary base will be their Cambridge office. Your role centers on utilising geospatial data to derive insights into environmental risks for corporations. You'll collaborate closely with a team of accomplished professionals.

Essential Skills:

  • Education: A degree in geography, natural sciences, or a related field.
  • GIS Skills: Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., QGIS).
  • Programming: Experience with a programming language (e.g., Python).
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Data Management: Proficient in handling and visualising complex datasets.
  • Communication: Clear communication of scientific concepts to non-experts.
  • Passion: Interest in climate change and environmental risks.
  • Team Player: Ability to work harmoniously in a fast-paced, diverse team.

Desirable Skills:

  • Expertise: Knowledge in climate change-related areas (e.g., risk science, economics).
  • Industry Knowledge: Sector-specific expertise (e.g., energy, finance).
  • Modeling: Experience in modeling (e.g., catastrophe modeling, risk quantification).
  • Research: Postdoctoral experience in a relevant field is advantageous.
