We're currently working with an AIM listed business based in Cambridge who are looking to continue their impressive growth financially and subsequently need the support of a Group Financial Accountant.
Reporting to and working closely with the Group Financial Controller you'll be joining a business that has an acquisitive nature, offers development and opportunity to take on projects taking place across the business.
The role is a technical position as you collate and produce the groups published annual report, accounts as well as interim results aligned to IFRS. Working with a direct report you'll review financial statements including disclosures while consolidating the group with associated conversion adjustments.
You will take ownership of the day to day audit requirements ensuring annual audit, schedules and draft accounting papers are met in a timely manner- you'll act as a point of contact for external auditors so a strong appreciation of audit requirements will make the process more streamlined.
Due to the acquisitive nature of the business you'll be tasked with all relevant technical accounting papers and provisions on certain projects from group restructurings and M&A activity.
The successful applicant will be ACCA/ACA qualified with industry experience within a technical financial accounting/ reporting role.
This would be suited to an individual who trained in the profession and has built up extensive knowledge who is looking to utilise these skills further. Alternatively should you of built an established career within industry in a large group environment this too will be considered.
Salary £60,000 -£65,000+ bens
