We're partnering with a SaaS business based near Newmarket as they look for a Group Financial Controller to join the CFO and small finance team.
You'll be joining a business who have re-found their identity after making a couple of acquisitions over the past of years and need someone to step into the Group role following the promotion of the old FC into the CFO position.
This is an opportunity to get involved in a range of tasks from preparing the management accounts at local and group level including analysis. You'll be supported by a part qualified management accountant ensuring they have enough scope and development in turn freeing up more time for higher level input.
Across the 3 entities you'll be involved with all aspects of stat accounts, reporting and compliance while ensuring all transactional processes are performed in a streamlined manner with the current accounts payable colleague.
This is a role that offers exposure to the board while learning and developing under the CFO who has been with the business for a period of time with vast amount of knowledge to draw on.
To be successful you'll be a qualified accountant (ACA,CIMA,ACCA) with prior experience in a technical role who isn't afraid to get hands-on, pick up tasks as and when required while providing key insight to allow strategic decisions to be made.
Hybrid working is available with a preference of 4 days in the office, however fewer days would be considered along with part time applicants of a minimum 30 hours per week.
Salary £50,000-£65,000
