Huntindgon based organisation requires an immediately available HR generalist / HR manager to join their team and take responsiblilty for the following:

  • Be the first point of contact for all HR queries from the business and advise on these in line with current legislation
  • Independently manage all ER cases - investigations, disciplinary cases, performance management, grievances from low-level cases such as sickness absence to more complex cases
  • Identify and manage and/or escalate risks trends and opportunities
  • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook
  • Support the business areas UK and globally with recruitment handling all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews including assisting managers with adverts and job descriptions, processing applications, scheduling and attending interviews.
  • Advertise and monitor recruitment vacancies on internal and external websites
  • Carry out employee Right to Work checks ensuring compliance with UK legislation
  • Issue contractual documentation, new starter packs and coordinate and lead employee inductions
  • Maintain and update files with employee information, including e-files and HRIS
  • Assist in administering benefits and compensation, payroll

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous HR generalist experience including experience in Employee Relations is essential to be considered
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness with the ability to effectively engage with a range of stakeholders
  • Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies - have an up to date understanding of employment law
  • Recruitment experience

This is an immediate need and we are looking for someone able to start a short notice. You will be required to work on site.
