This role will play a crucial part in the continued commercial success of the organisation by providing in house legal support, you will provide key support to senior stakeholders in Group Functions and the broader business on legal matters. You will be influential in identifying and evaluating strategic business opportunities to deliver the Group business strategies and growth plans.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support Corporate Business Development Director in Group M&A and legal commercial contracts and business development
- Take lead role on certain M&A / business development projects as agreed providing appropriate support and challenge to functional workstream leads to deliver robust due diligence and deliver integration benefits.
- Advise Regional CEOs & Group when existing long term supply contracts are renewed
- Support local teams with existing and new contracts be it Supplier or Customer
- Advise Regional CEOs and Finance Directors on finance models as to their returns and where there are risks and opportunities
- Take lead on streamlining and standardisation of group legal documentation
- Support Regional CEOs and Group to better understand where there are specific site issues
It is expected that this role will best suit a Newly Qualified Lawyer who is currently working in practice but looking to move to an in house role. You will have gained experience in contract law and M&A activity whilst in practice and have gained strong business partnering skills.
Six Figure salary plus bonus
