Working with a client on the outskirts of Cambridge as we look to secure an Interim Accountant on a 5 month assignment.
You will be assisting the Group Financial Controller to develop, implement and maintain systems and procedures to ensure efficient management of the group finances.
- Provide necessary cover for the Group Financial Controller
- Preparation of statutory financial statements
- Supervision of the Accounts Assistants on the processing of sales invoices, purchase invoices, banking
- Preparation of submitting quarterly VAT returns
- Liaise with Accounts Assistant to maintain the revenue recognition and billing schedules, ensuring consistently accurate and up to date
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly Balance Sheet reconciliations for all GL accounts
