Interim Accountant

This Cambridge based SME requires an interim accountant to support a small team whilst they look to recruit a permanent member of staff. We are looking for a strong all rounder happy to do everything from Bank recs to taking accounts to Trial Balance. This is a Hybrid role and you will be in the office three days a week.

This is a hands on role where you will be involved in all aspects of finance:

Assisting the Director of Group Finance with the provision of statutory accounts, liaising with the auditors and providing information for the audit file and schedules
Consolidated monthly management accounts
Processing expenses using the expense system
Responsibility for production of Trial balances for 3 companies
Bank reconciliations, posting of purchase and sales ledger invoices, payroll journals
Payment runs (multi currency)
Treasury management
Monthly payroll profit and loss reconciliations for all companies
Production of VAT returns
Profit and loss analysis

You will need to be immediately available, be able to pick roles up quickly and happy to commit for three months.

£250 per day inside IR35
