We are currently partnering with a Not for Profit organisation to recruit an Interim Director of Finance. This role is based in Coventry. The organisation would be comfortable with the appointed candidate to work hybrid and/or part time if this was preferred.
This Not for Profit client are based in the heart of Coventry and offer a local community and educational service to the surrounding area.
Interim Director of Finance:
- Oversee the financial management for the organisation
- Ensure statutory requirements are completed
- Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts
- Provide a business partnering approach to internal and external stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement by improving efficiency in finance processes and procedures
- Manage a small finance team
- Build a collaborative relationship with the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees
- Manage all bank accounts in accordance with the Treasury Management policy
- Keep up to date with all charitable accountancy requirements
Interim Director of Finance:
- You must be fully CCAB or CIMA qualified
- A minimum of 5 years working within the Not for Profit sector
- Proven examples presenting to Senior Management and Trustees
- Strong knowledge of accountancy standards within the charitable sector (SORP) is essential
- Ability to manage a small team
- Comfortable producing management and statutory accounts
- Ability to cover all transactional processes in the absence of the Finance Officer
£400 - £500 per day
