Based in Birmingham my client is seeking a commercially minded Interim Procurement Finance Analyst to join the Finance team and work closely with Procurement and Finance Business Partner team.
My client based in Birmingham is a UK-based production company that has a portfolio of well-known brands that are sold not only in the UK but across Europe.
As Interim Procurement Finance Analyst reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner you will:
Deliver end-to-end procurement reporting (PPV, inventory, supplier spend, monthly bridges)
Provide clear analysis and actionable insights to support decision-making
Prepare periodic statutory submissions (HMRC, EPR, Scope 3 emissions)
Prepare month-end journal entries for procurement areas of the P&L
Review actual input costs and investigate discrepancies
Prepare summary cost reviews for senior finance stakeholders
Load and schedule monthly costs in the system
Complete stock and depletion reconciliations
The most desirable Interim Procurement Finance Analyst application will:
- Be available at short notice
Have strong analytical and reporting skills from partnering with procurement
Experienced in finance, management accounting, or procurement finance (highly desirable)
Have the confidence of working with large data sets and finance systems
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across Finance and Procurement
Attractive annual salary or day rate
4 days on-site in Birmingham & 1 day remote working
