In this role you will be:
- Providing 1st-line IT support to end-users (Business applications, Windows OS, Active Directory, M365, Citrix, PC hardware and peripherals)
- Responding to and logging IT Help-desk requests (telephone, email or in person) in order to resolve, investigate or escalate as appropriate
- Administration of domain accounts and systems access; from initial setup to deletion/archiving, based on agreed procedures
- IT purchasing - dealing with suppliers, processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders
- Working with Engineers and the IT Manager to help monitor and maintain our IT infrastructure
- Helping to create/maintain accurate asset records and technical documentation
- Occasional IT support for other worldwide entities where required
You will have:
- Good working knowledge of IT hardware including PCs, laptops, printers and mobile devices
- Good working knowledge of latest desktop operating systems
- Good understanding of relevant cloud technologies - Office 365, MS Teams, MDM/InTune
- Understanding of a manufacturing environment is desirable
- Educated to at least GCSE level or relevant professional qualifications/experience
- Willingness to pursue formal certifications appropriate to the role
- Great communication skills
