My client are a leading manufacturer and distributor of technical work wear industry, who are looking for a Key Account Manager to join their team within England, in a remote base role.
The key responsibilities of the Key Account Manager based in England (Remote) are including but not limited to the following.
- Manage and develop client accounts, ensuring all contractual requirements are met.
- Maintain price files, manage stock, and accurately forecast customer spend.
- Ensure on-time, in-full delivery of customer roll outs through project plans and internal communications.
- Provide customer KPI reporting and adhere to SLAs.
- Drive sales growth through organic growth and cross-selling opportunities.
- Retain clients through contract extensions and tendering activities.
- Protect margins through pricing reviews and maintenance.
- Deliver garments to agreed SLAs.
- Forecast client spend accurately and maintain client data, including wearer wardrobe profiles.
- Complete KPI and ad hoc reporting, and manage aged debt and client orders.
- Supervise associated Account Administrator and handle ad hoc duties as required.
- Be aware of ISO 19001, 14001, and 45001 accreditation's, objectives, and requirements.
- Perform additional tasks or duties as requested by management.
The successful candidate of the Key Account Manager based in England (UK) will have the following experience, skill set and characteristics.
- Proven B2B account management experience
- Excellent communication skills across all levels
- Strong analytic skills
- Highly organised with a flexible approach to work
- Pragmatic and practical management and development skills
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- High level of interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated sales success
- Strong sales negotiation skills
- Good project management abilities
- Proficient in IT, particularly Excel
£40,000 - £60,000 based on experience
