My client is looking to bring on board a Legislation Specialist who understands legal compliance and regulations within the food manufacturing and distribution industry, based in England (Remote).

My client are an award winning Food manufacturer and distributor who are growing and expanding into new markets, and are now looking to bring on board a Legislation Specialist based in England (Remote).

The key responsibilities of the Legislation Specialist based in England (Remote) are including but not limited to the following.

  • Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions including the UK, China, EU, US, and other emerging markets as the business expands.
  • Reviewing and synthesising mandatory information mandated by Regulatory Bodies.
  • Overseeing all legislative updates and changes, disseminating pertinent information to the broader team, and ensuring compliance across all operations.
  • Conducting thorough reviews of all artwork and packaging materials to ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with the Packaging Technologist to complete approval forms for packaging materials, offering feedback, and facilitating necessary adjustments.
  • Upholding company commitment to compliance with regulations governing our product portfolio.
  • Demonstrating strict adherence to safety protocols, encompassing the adoption of safe work practices, utilisation of appropriate protective gear, and adherence to role-specific safety measures.
  • Fulfilling additional responsibilities as necessitated by business demands.
