They are looking for a number Logistics Engineers to help design and implement logistics solutions on behalf of their Automotive, Manufacturing and Technology customers.

- Contribute to the design and implementation of logistics solutions from large scale start up projects through to smaller process improvement and warehouse layout redesigns
- Support in the development of concepts for use in formal customer proposals including process flow diagrams, KPIs and warehouse layouts in complex cases with support of the Solutions Design team.
- Work closely with Business Development/Account Management and Operational teams to develop solutions as part of the solution development process.
- Support Sales in presenting solutions to customers through proposals, conference calls and presentations.
- Develop RFQ concepts in to fully detailed designs post award as part of the process.
- Actively support the delivery including the creation of master data, process validation, infrastructure works, on boarding of logistics teams.
- Assist with the ongoing development and enhancement of standardised engineering tools and methods.
- Make informed recommendations and decisions related to the purchase or lease of capital equipment, including; forklifts, tooling, lift assists, generators, compressed air systems, racking, sweepers/scrubbers, compactors, and miscellaneous items pertaining to specific projects.

It's also a great opportunity for anyone that is open to international travel as this role will require some travel to other sites in Europe.
You'll also need the following experience:
Established project management experience of warehouse inbound to outbound process flow design and extended value chain projects from supplier to warehouse.
Highly developed computer skills, including Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables and familiarity with common formulas), Word, Visio or equivalent, and Project Management software are required.
Proficient in using AutoCAD to design functional workings of solutions in 3D and 2D formats.
Knowledge and experience in new robotic technology, safety and standard work instructions.
Previous 6 Sigma & Lean experience required
Logistics automation expertise (Storage, Point to Point, robotic arm, autonomous lift trucks, Autonomous Mobile Robots)
Analytical and project management capability (use of MS project, Primavera or Prince 2)
£50,000 - £55,000 + car, bonus, pension and holidays
Hybrid working with some expectation of EU travel.
