The key responsibilities within the role of a Logistics Project Coordinator based in Coalville as follows.
- Assist in ensuring successful project delivery in the National Supply Chain Management Department, maintaining project governance.
- Support complex material handling equipment projects through their entire life cycle, from pre-sales to post-implementation.
- Take responsibility for end-to-end project completion, optimising processes for efficiency.
- Manage multiple logistics projects and tasks, working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the processing and tracking of project action points and milestones.
- Ensure projects meet time, budget, and quality goals.
- Collaborate with project teams to establish procedures and practices that support appropriate solutions and sustainable results.
- Identify and manage risks and issues in project execution.
- Coordinate weekly program meetings, project statuses, and business updates at the program level.
- Proactively suggest process improvements for increased efficiency.
- Handle correspondence with strict confidentiality when necessary.
- Efficiently manage the flow of correspondence and information with internal and external parties.
- Maintain a clear understanding of current actions and take necessary steps.
- Contribute to department strategy implementation as required.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in MS Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Fulfil responsibilities for collective tasks on a rotating basis.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour in all communications.
- Positively and constructively contribute to the Future Logistics Network Team.
The successful candidate for the Logistics Project Coordinator will have the following experience, skills and qualifications.
- Recent graduate / indusutry experience in:
- Industrial placement or work experience in Logistics/Supply Chain
- Project Management
- Stakeholder Management
- Risk and Issue Management
- Project Planning
- Project delivery of large cross-functional projects
- Management and planning of dependencies between multiple projects to deliver a program of change.
- Possesses confidence and effective communication skills, able to interact with colleagues at all organisational levels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, fostering productive relationships with colleagues at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Word.
