Logistics Project Manager:
- Working at a senior management level, taking ownership and leading business critical projects, new business, business expansions, customer product launches within the organisation.
- End-to-end ownership for large-scale projects from planning through to installation, launch and support.
- Coordinate critical path tasks, thoroughly analyse technical details, and develop innovative solutions to address any issues that arise.
- Assess and effectively communicate the status of projects, proactively manage potential risks and delays across multiple teams.
- Organise and facilitate weekly standing meetings with internal teams and external vendors/contractors to plan and monitor project deliverables.
- Work closely with various internal teams, including Engineering, Facilities, Operations, IT, and Procurement, to collaborate and ensure smooth project execution.
- Managing key project KPI's (schedule, deliverables, and budget).
- Providing project status reports and identifying risks and issues impacting the project completion.
- Managing project budgets and implementing actions to resolve cost overruns.
- Managing the project scope definition and sign-off, and leading the change management process thereafter.
- Presenting project status reports to senior executive level.
Logistics Project Manager:
- Possession of a recognised project management qualification would be advantageous.
- Experience of leading projects, new sites, new geography from project launch to handover.
- Demonstrable track record of owning, leading and delivering projects.
- Experience of using recognised project management tools.
- You should have strong organisational/analytical skills and be able to translate ideas to action effectively.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation and influencing skills whilst maintaining integrity are essential as you will be liaising with all levels of management and operations.
- The ability to cope with time pressure in volume dynamic operations is required whilst continuing to be enthusiastic and have a high level of energy ensuring project deadlines are consistently achieved.
- Some experience in Engineering / Six Sigma would be an advantage.
£60,000 - £65,000 + benefits
National role and therefore an expectation to travel to multiple sites.
