We're working with a business on the outskirts of Ipswich as they look to recruit a management accountant following an internal promotion.
The role will report into the Finance Director and take on a range of responsibilities from managing the month end process, producing management packs including analysis and associated commentary. You'll support management in ad-hoc tasks given the finance team are small this offers an opportunity to get involved in processes you wouldn't necessarily gain within a larger company.
The company are part of a larger group however they are left to function in an autonomous nature allowing individuals to take ownership on improving current processes in collaboration with the wider team(s) that it would benefit.
The successful applicant will either be in their latter stages of study (ACCA/CIMA) or qualified with an inquisitive nature; individuals who are qualified by experience will also be considered. You'll need to be pro-active, want to push the business forward and not get into that 'comfortable' position.
Salary £35,000- £45,000 (DOE)
