We're working with a business based near Ely as they look for a finalist or qualified Management Accountant.
You'll be joining a fast paced business who are continually evolving their finance practice and wider business offering, allowing the suitable candidate opportunity to take on a diverse workload and ad-hoc projects.
The core focus of the role will be supporting month end, producing weekly/monthly management accounts with associated analysis on variances. You'll play a supporting role in budget preparation for the business unit as well as looking at ways of improving current processes.
Due to the ongoing transformation there will be opportunities to highlight areas of interest that could be improved- whether that's the way information is collated within your remit allowing a more succinct financial reporting approach or perhaps highlighting cost saving initiatives from trend analysis reviews.
The successful applicant will be in the final stages of study or newly qualified ACCA/CIMA with experience in a commercial setting. You'll need the ability to pick things up quickly, work in a fast paced environment and wear 'many hats' due to ad-hoc projects that occur for stakeholders.
The role offers a hybrid model of working- ideally 3 days office based.
Salary £40,000-£45,000
