We're partnering with a business based in Royston as they look to recruit a rounded Management Accountant with commercial exposure to join the wider finance team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager you'll provide insightful finance information to stakeholders onsite but also manage financial queries to the offshore team. You'll provide management accounts, financial controls and associated analysis to the wider business.
As the management Accountant you will contribute to the bi-weekly P&L, cashflow and forecasting modalities within the business; you'll be interrogating financial information providing meaningful analysis around revenue and margins including commentary on any trends and variances within the results. Aside form the commercial side you will support the technical aspects of finance including periodic audit/controls ensuring the business are compliant under regulations. You will champion finance as an added value piece to the business ensuring relevant MI is provided to operation departments and commercial areas that require ad-hoc analysis.
To be successful you will be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified who ideally comes from a manufacturing background with the ability to discuss high level financials to non-finance peers. This opportunity allows someone to develop a more rounded skillset in finance in a large group however be provide key input at a local level around potential decisions depending on the financials.
The role is onsite 5 days a week for the first 3 months to help gain a clearer understanding of how the business operates with a view then to move to hybrid working.
